This week's Staff Spotlight shines brightly on Leon Wilkerson, one of our incredible 8th grade social studies teacher! 🌟
A proud graduate of Tomball High School and Abilene Christian University, Mr. Wilkerson is an avid reader and lifelong learner who brings a passion for discovery that's absolutely contagious! This intellectual adventurer is currently diving deep into "Discipline Is Destiny" by Ryan Holiday and exploring nature through "The Complete Works of John Muir" – talk about range! When he's not absorbing wisdom from books, you'll find him staying sharp with current events because, let's face it, a great social studies teacher never stops learning.
But wait, there's more! Mr. Wilkerson has conquered the epic anime seas by watching EVERY episode of One Piece (that's dedication, folks!), enjoys the classics like Cowboy Bebop and Mushishi, and keeps things light with the hilarious antics of Bob's Burgers.
When it comes to travelling, Mr. Wilkerson enjoys exploring new places! Fresh from adventures in Colorado and New Mexico, he's already plotting his next expedition to the Windy City this summer. Whether he's exploring mountain peaks or city streets, Mr. Wilkerson brings that same spirit of discovery back to his classroom every single day.

Our Kleb Coding Club launched this week with an incredible 23 students ready to dive into the world of programming! Under the fantastic guidance of Ms. Moss, several of our tech-savvy Bearcubs have already earned their first coding certificates - talk about hitting the ground running! What a week on the court! Our boys hosted another spirited home game, and both our boys and girls teams played with hustle, energy, and teamwork. Fans brought the noise, cheerleaders brought the spirit, and our players delivered the highlights. Thanks to everyone who came to cheer, clap, and celebrate big plays. Our PHS class had a delightful Hot Chocolate Lab this week — students explored science (and taste-testing!), experimented with mix-ins, and warmed up with smiles. Check out the attached photos for all the cozy fun and sweet learning moments!
After 11 exciting rounds, our Kleb Spelling Bee winner is Zainab Ahmed and runner-up is Virginia Nguyen. Congratulations to both students for their outstanding spelling and courage — and thank you to all participants, families, and teachers who supported the event!

This week we’re proud to highlight not one, but two amazing clinic staff members — Christina Carter and Beronica McMillon — who keep our clinic running with a positive, safe, and caring environment. They are true heroes in our hearts.
Mrs. Christina Carter is married and the mother of four children. Her passion for helping others led her into education and to her role in the clinic, where she serves as a certified medical assistant. Her children attend local schools: a son in 9th grade at Klein High, a son in 6th grade at Kleb, and twins in 4th grade at Mittelstadt Elementary. In her free time, she can be found cheering at her children’s football and basketball games or spending time with family. She’s excited to make a difference in someone’s life every day.
Ms. Beronica McMillon was born in Hinsdale, Illinois, and raised in Michoacán, Mexico, before returning to the United States as a teenager. A proud mother of two young adult sons, Beronica loves trying new foods, traveling with family, and taking mini road trips with friends.
