From the Gateway City of St. Louis (home of the magnificent Arch!) to the heart of Spain and finally landing in Klein, Texas - Christy's journey reads like an adventure novel! After teaching English in Spain for three months, close friends convinced her to make Klein her home, and lucky for us, she did just that in 2009.
With her dual degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University (after starting her collegiate journey at the University of Kansas), Christy has been an educational rockstar for an incredible 12 years! She's worn many teaching hats - from ACCESS classes to 6th and 8th grade ELA, KP, and Humanities, and even co-teaching Social Studies and Science. Talk about versatility!
But what truly sets Christy apart is her heart. She doesn't just teach curriculum; she nurtures souls. Her deep care for students' personal AND academic growth - both now and for their futures - makes her the kind of educator who changes lives forever.
When she's not motivating students or co-leading Kleb's Pentathlon, you'll find this hard-working, dedicated teacher curled up in her favorite chaise lounge, binge-watching Netflix thrillers with her beloved Mama (their bond is absolutely precious!). She's a mystery and fantasy book enthusiast who dominates her book club discussions. Watch out at game night, though. She's a fierce competitor at Scrabble, SkipBo, Phase 10, and all the Unos!
Fun fact: Christy once bowled a spectacular 175 in a tournament! 🎳
As a devoted caretaker, talented baker, and woman of faith, Christy brings her whole heart to everything she does. With a large, loving family including siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, she knows the power of connection - which explains why her students feel so valued and supported!🌟

She's our Digital Learning Specialist extraordinaire! Kim doesn't just work her magic on our campus - she spreads her tech superpowers across multiple elementaries too. Armed with endless technology knowledge and the amazing ability to make even the most complex tech feel simple, Kim is passionate about showing students that technology skills can unlock incredible opportunities that stretch far beyond the classroom.
Our Super K is a proud SFA Lumberjack who turned her technical writing degree into a mission of educational excellence! After spending 10 years inspiring minds as an English teacher at Klein Forest, she transitioned to Instructional Media Coordinator at VISTAS High School for 6 years before finding her perfect home here at Kleb seven years ago. Talk about a journey of impact!
When she's not busy saving the day with her tech wizardry, Kim is rocking the mom life with three amazing kids. Her oldest just graduated from Texas A&M and is heading to Baylor for PA school this fall! Her son is crushing it as a junior at Klein Collins, while her youngest daughter is thriving in her freshman year there. Both Klein Collins kids are band members, and you'll find Kim cheering them on with the enthusiasm only a proud band parent can muster! Her husband keeps the Klein ISD family strong as both an educator and coach right at Klein Collins - how perfect is that for a family where both parents can support their kids every step of the way!
Here's a Klein connection that'll blow your mind: Kim IS Klein! She's a homegrown hero who walked the very halls of Brill, then Kleb, and finally Klein High. Now that's a full-circle story! When she's not troubleshooting tech or solving digital dilemmas, you'll find her cheering on the Astros or hitting the road in the family RV for some fun camping adventures. 🚀⚾🏕️
